Throughout this project I learned a lot, not only about the project itself, but also about UNE’s sustainable practices that I had never heard of. For instance, UNE already has multiple rainwater collection and management strategies being used every day to add to our list of sustainable benefits. This campus has been trying its best to become more and more sustainable, and through this project it became very evident. What this project truly taught me though is how much more I should care about this campus’s sustainable actions, or in some cases lack thereof. I want to see UNE strive to be more sustainable, and it should be important to everyone on this campus. Many f us live here, eat the food here, use the water here, and it is so important to keep track of those usages as we did with this project. Even though our group is just a baseline we needed to start somewhere, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
